SHOW CASE day as you can see there are three distinct looks ,Masquerade where the brief was high hair , French rolls with teasing and curls .Great Gatsby stylish sleek hair with finger waves and Dolls which was Avante Garde. Three quite different looks that the students envisioned, designed and implemented.
What a good idea with the three different styles which require the knowledge of several technologies. How do you assessment the students performance? Is there any particular goals in some courses you save for the show or do you look at the big picture?
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa, good question Lisa! It's like the holistic assessment which we use to assess the students in a number of competencies. The students also capture lots of before / after images of the styles they create and use as part of their ePortfolios. These ePortfolios are used to show prospective employers their abilities and creativities.
ReplyDeleteI see. Good that you are doing portfolios together with the students. As you wright it´s good to show the employers when they looking for job. What do you use for the type of program? It is interesting to know, then evolves very rapidly until today.
