SCCVC Hairdressing Photo 8

It is interesting that when a Hairdressing Salon Operator wants to teach at some Colleges in Australia, they need to have the correct qualifications (journeymen's certificate) as well as undertake a Hairdressing Trade Test . This test will normally take all day, and the hairdresser will need to have 2 clients to work on. They need to be able to demonstrate a large range of skills including colouring, cutting and up-styling.

Salon Operators may have been working in their business for many years, but they still need to take the Trade Test. This is required for prospective teachers wanting full time or part time work.

  1. Very good that you have the quality requirement.
Do you need to take the test on a regular basis?

Do you have any additional requests for training in mentoring?
